この度、Habibi社が運営する越境Eコマースサービス「8mart」は、2023年（令和5年）6月30日付でメルカリ社が運営するフリマアプリ「メルカリ」と業務提携いたしました。日本国外にお住まいの方々が、8martを通じて、メルカリに流通する商品をご購入いただけます。
■ 背景と目的
Habibi社は、越境Eコマースサービス8martを通じて、これまで40以上の国・地域にお住まいの方々に日本の商品をお届けしてまいりました。以前より、8martをご利用いただいている日本国外にお住まいのお客様から、「日本で新発売の商品をすぐに入手したい」、「日本の高品質な中古品をリーズナブルな価格で入手したい」といったお声を多数いただいておりました。
Habibi社は、累計30億点以上の商品が出品され、海外からの"推し活"需要を受け、エンタメ・ホビー関連商品が活発に取引されているメルカリとの業務提携を行います。提携を通じて、日本国外にお住まいの方々が、欲しかった日本の商品に安定してアクセスでき、あらゆる属性のお客さまニーズへの対応に向けての体制を構築することを目的としております。

Cross-border e-commerce service 8mart, operated by Habibi, Inc. (headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo; Takafumi Genji, Representative Director; “Habibi”), announces that it has entered into a business partnership with flea market app Mercari, operated by Mercari, Inc. (headquartered in Minato, Tokyo; Shintaro Yamada, Director, Representative Executive Officer and CEO; “Mercari”), as of June 30, 2023.
Habibi’s cross-border e-commerce service 8mart has entered into a business partnership with Mercari’s flea market app Mercari as of June 30, 2023. Customers residing outside of Japan can now purchase products sold on Mercari through 8mart.
■ Background and Objectives
Habibi has been delivering Japanese products to customers residing in over 40 countries and regions through its cross-border e-commerce service, 8mart. We have received numerous requests from our overseas 8mart customers for “immediate access to newly released products in Japan” and “opportunities to buy high-quality used items from Japan at affordable prices”.
Mercari has a cumulative total of more than 3 billion items listed, and entertainment and hobby-related products are actively traded due to “Oshikatsu” demand from overseas. Through this business partnership, Habibi aims to provide customers of all demographics residing outside of Japan with consistent access to the Japanese products they want and to establish a system that meets their needs.
Mercari aims to expand cross-border sales channels and bring the Mercari shopping experience to an even broader customer base.
