GBP K.K. In addition to addressing the cable shortage issue, GBP has implemented substantial price downward adjustments despite the impact of rising copper prices, which have affected businesses in solar power and construction-related sectors.

Addressing Cable Shortage Issue and GBP's Initiative
GBP recognizes the serious cable supply shortage within Japan. While the construction of large-scale infrastructure facilities accelerates, major domestic cable manufacturers are experiencing extended lead times and suspensions of new orders. Furthermore, solar power plants nationwide have become targets for theft, leading to a surge in theft incidents involving copper wire cables.
Since December 2023, GBP has been providing power cables, accumulating a track record of 700,000 meters delivered. The quality of our cables has been widely recognized in demanding environments such as government agencies, schools, and hospitals. To continue providing high-quality products at competitive prices, GBP has made efforts to review its production and supply processes. Despite the global rise in copper prices, our latest pricing adjustment aims to challenge industry standards with significantly reduced prices.

GBP-brand cables are manufactured in compliance with JIS standards and are certified with S-JET and PSE marks (standards and certifications vary depending on the type of cable).
