京都のおかんによるプロジェクトFamily Experience Japan (株式会社たおやかカンパニー 代表: 赤坂美保）は、世界中から観光で来られるご家族と、地域のご家族との交流をテーマとするお祭りを7月21日実施いたします。後援は京都市教育委員会、京都市観光協会。
京都のおかんによるプロジェクトFamily Experience Japan (株式会社たおやかカンパニー 代表: 赤坂美保）は、京都を「子連れ観光客にとっての観光都市世界一」にすることを目指して活動しています。この活動の一環として、インバウンド家族観光客と、地域の家族との交流の場として「国際かぞく祭り」を、祇園祭り期間中の7/21（日）に実施いたします。
また、7/14（日）～21（日）には、「Kyoto Welcomes Kids Week」 として、京都のお子様連れご家族を歓迎の施設にて、お子様やご家族連れむけの特典やプレゼントを実施いたします。
【国際かぞく祭り】
国際かぞく祭り International Family Festival
日時：7/21（日） 10時-16時（予定）
場所 ：因幡堂（平等寺）市営地下鉄五条・四条より徒歩5分
内容（予定）：子供の遊び場、伝統体験ブース（水墨画、友禅体験など）、縁日風屋台
＊猛暑でもお子様が安全に遊べるように室内会場を中心に実施予定です。

Family Experience Japan, a project started by Kyoto moms (Rep: Miho Akasaka, Taoyaka & Co.) will hold the International Family Festival to connect foreign families visiting Kyoto with local families. The festival will take place on Sunday, July 21, which happens to be during the Gion Festival season. It is supported by Kyoto Board of Education and Kyoto City Tourism Association.
Family Experience Japan wants to make Kyoto the "World`s Best City to Travel to with Kids." In order to reach that goal, they want to give inbound tourists with families the opportunity to mix and communicate with local people, especially families.
The week of July 14-21 will be "Kyoto Welcomes Kids Week." During this week, tourists traveling with kids can receive some special items or services aimed at families with kids at participating businesses.
At the first event held by FEJ in March, the "International Kids Festival" over 100 locals and foreign tourists joined the event where they could experience cultural activities at the temple where the event was held as well as dressing in kimono for photos.
This time, in addition to local moms, there will also be a group of university students learning about tourism. We want to take Kyoto`s status as a global tourist city one step further by giving tourists and locals a chance to meet and enjoy events like this together.
【International Family Festival】
Date: Sunday, July 21
Time: 10:00 - 16:00 (tentative)
Place: Inaba Yakushi (Byodo-ji Temple) - about a 5 minute walk from Kyoto City Subway Karasuma Line Gojo & Shijo stops
Events: (tentative) Kids' play area; traditional experience booths (ink painting, "Kyo-yuzen" painting, etc), various stalls
*As it will probably be quite hot, most events will take place indoors
【Kyoto Welcomes Kids Week】
When: Sunday, July 14 - Sunday, July 21
Our goal is to welcome tourists visiting Kyoto with their families. During this week we will partner with some local businesses to offer those families some special deals or events.
