第24回「D.I.C.E. Awards」受賞作品が発表。『Hades』がゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーを含む5部門において受賞

　インタラクティブ芸術科学学会（AIAS）は、第24回「D.I.C.E. Awards」の受賞作品を発表した。最高のゲームに送られるゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーを含む5部門を『Hades』が獲得している。

　『Hades』以外では、アドベンチャーゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーを含む4部門で『Ghost of Tsushima』、ベストストーリー賞を含む2部門に『The Last of Us Part II』、没入型リアリティゲーム賞を含む2部門で『Half-Life: Alyx』が選ばれた。

　「D.I.C.E. Awards」は1998年から開催されている歴史あるゲーム賞だ。「ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー」や「ベスト・アートディレクション」など、複数の視点でゲームを選出。その中からもっとも優れたゲームに賞を与える。

　ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーを含む5部門を受賞した『Hades』は、2020年の多数のゲーム賞にノミネートされおり、「D.I.C.E. Awards」と並んで世界でも特に有名な「The Game Awards」では「ベスト・インディーゲーム」に輝き、英国アカデミー賞ゲーム部門では2020年のベストゲームという最高の栄誉を得た。
　アメリカSFファンタジー作家協会が主宰する「ネビュラ賞」やワールドSFソサエティ主宰の「ヒューゴー賞」にもゲームとしてノミネートされており、SFファンからの注目も高い。

　『Hades』は6月24日にNintendo SwitchとPCで正式に日本語版もリリースされる。正式リリース時により良い日本語版を発売するため、PCで日本語プレビュー版が現在配信中だ。
